Simply put, the graduation ceremony is a ceremony held once a year to honor students who have just graduated or are soon to graduate, which means completing all the requirements of their program of study. Participating in graduation does not automatically mean that a student has graduated.

Participating in graduation does not automatically mean that a student has graduated. Very few students will have received confirmation of graduation before this date, and some students who attend graduation won't even graduate until the following quarter.
