LinkedIn's Easy Apply option makes it easy for them to view applications and select candidates. LinkedIn allows you to attach additional documents to your application, so if you have a personalized resume ready to use (or you can prepare one very quickly), the “Easy Request” button can be a great option.
I recently received a notification on LinkedIn about a job I applied for and that my resume has been downloaded. As part of the job description, LinkedIn asks employers to list the best skills for the position, then LinkedIn alerts the employer to how many people the matching candidate has.
