Can Prime Student Benefits Be Shared?

As a

Prime Student

member, it is not possible to share your benefits with another person. In the past, Prime Student benefits could be shared, but this feature is now exclusive to Amazon Prime subscribers. An Amazon Prime member can create an Amazon home and share the benefits of Amazon Prime, as well as a family library, with up to four teenagers and four children. However, the student account cannot be transferred or assigned, and other family members cannot use it to get Prime benefits. These unshareable benefits include Prime Music, Prime Reading, Kindle First, and discounts on purchased video games and video add-ons.

To download Prime Video titles, open the Prime Video app on your device and search for the title you want. To watch them offline, you need a Fire tablet or the Prime Video app for iOS, Android, MacOS, or Windows 10.As a member of Amazon Prime for students, you will enjoy the benefits of Amazon Prime for a six-month trial period. After this period is over, you will start paying a subscription fee. If your Prime membership is associated with a service you receive through another company (such as Sprint), contact that company to manage your Prime membership.

To cancel your Amazon Prime membership, go to your Prime membership page, select the option “Upgrade, Cancel and More” and follow the on-screen instructions.
